“Cultural, balneology, spa and wellness tourism will be main topics in Bulgaria’s representation at the Russian travel industry events in 2014 as well as the country’s popularisation as a year-round destination with ancient culture, rich in historical and architectural monuments, beautiful and preserved nature, delicious food,” Bulgarian Ambassador to Russia Boyko Kotsev said in an interview with FOCUS News Agency.
In his words, Bulgaria regularly participates in the biggest travel industry events on the Russian market which are held in Moscow in mid-March.
According to him, the country has participated in the international travel fair Intourmarket since it launched and is to take part in it for a ninth time in a row in 2014.
Bulgaria will also have its own stand at the MITT, which is among Russia’s leading and largest travel exhibitions.
Mr Kotsev said more than 50 Bulgarian firms had declared presence at these events in 2014
