The American Israeli Medical Association (AIMA) today announced it will hold its 9th Conference at Los Angeles’ Skirball Cultural Center on Thursday, May 3rd, 2012 from 5 p.m. – 10 p.m. According to Dr. Ben Drillings, director of AIMA, the keynote speaker for the event will be the CEO of Mann Healthcare Partners, Ms. Carla Mann Woods. With 20 years’ operational experience in the development, marketing and distribution of high-tech medical devices, Carla is now working for the Alfred Mann Foundation for Biomedical Engineering to aid Alfred Mann Institutes. In this role, Carla has worked with universities to identify sites for institutes and works with existing institutes to assess technologies from biomaterials, to diagnostics and therapeutic devices.
Joining Mann are prestigious speakers: Dr. Zeev Feldman, Chairman of Israel Medical Association- WF, who will talk about Israeli Medicine: Past, Present, and Future; Dr. Ben Drillings, Director & Founder of AIMA, will be presenting an exceptional short movie about a breakthrough medical device; Mr. Scott Feinerman, representing the Ministry of Tourism of Israel, will be speaking about the developments and benefits of the Israeli Medical Tourism.
