Turkish Health Tourism Development Council considers health and tourism as integral parts of each other and introduces advantages of this field in our country to the world.
In this scope the council organized a Health Tourism Workshop in Tashkent alongwith Uzbekistan Health Ministry, prominent travel agencies and hospitals.
In his inaugural speech Turkey’s Ambassador to Uzbekistan Sertaç SÖNMEZAY said Turkish health Tourism has an annual growth rate of 10% and Turkish Health Tourism Development Council has a significant contribution in this success.
Due to Turkish Airlines’ flights to more than 200 destinations worldwide Turkey has become an accessible country as regards to Health Tourism.
Several bilateral agreements were signed between Turkey and Uzbekistan in the scope of Tashkent and Semerkent workshops to change route of the Uzbek patients to Turkey.
