In an attempt to promote health tourism in Kerala, the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) with the support of Government of Kerala is organizing the fourth edition of Kerala Health Tourism 2013 during October 31 to November 2 2013 at Kochi.
The health tourism summit would bring together all stakeholders in a single platform and showcase their products and services to the overseas delegates from medial tourism source destinations. The program would aim to create awareness about Kerala as a medical tourism destination.
Reputed speakers from the country and abroad would take part in the International Conference at the Kerala Health Tourism 2013. Kerala Health Tourism (KHT) 2006 started creating awareness about Kerala as a preferred destination for health tourism.
After KHT 2007, its second edition, hospitals in Kerala on an average reported 30-40% increase in medical tourists arrival.
The KHT 2011, its third edition was also a grand success to the industry as a whole. CII would organise an exhibition on medical equipments namely MediEquip 2013 parallely with Kerala Health Tourism 2013. The organizers are expecting around 400 delegates for the conference.
