The First International Conference and Exhibition for Medical Tourism, organized by World National Exhibition (WNE), in coordination with the Ministry of Health, will be held on April 8th at Oman International Exhibition Centre and lasts for three days under the auspices of Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed al-Saeedi, Minister of Health.
Salim bin Mohammed Aidid, CEO of WNE disclosed this in a press conference held at the International Amwaj Hotel today in which he also said that there will be a two-day Conference where famous specialists and physicians will talk about the concept of medical tourism and new medical projects and what services and facilities the participating hospitals and centres provide.
He added that the exhibition, in which specialists, doctors, consultants and professionals representing various Arab, Asian States and foreign countries take part, will give the opportunity for visitors to see the latest services, specialities and future projects provided by these hospitals and health centres, the exchange of ideas and providing consultancy services and new disciplines and build a bridge of cooperation between the relevant parties and to meet with customers and seekers of the best tourist destinations for hospitalization under one roof.
He noted that there will be more 50 hospitals and health centres will take part in the exhibition coming from Iran, Thailand, Malaysia, Germany, UAE, Saudi Arabia and India, in addition to some hospitals from the Sultanate.
