Royal India Wellness exhibition to be launched next month in Dubai

The maiden Royal India Wellness exhibition, initiated by Dubai-based HNI-Luxury consultants GLOBUZZ, will be held from June 11-13, 2014 at Jumeirah Beach Hotel, Dubai. The exhibition will showcase over 25 luxury wellness service and retail therapy providers will focus on India’s agenda of wellness through rejuvenation, holistic healing and prevention and reversal of lifestyle diseases, as per a release.

Estimated 5,000 visitors from UAE and GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council) countries will have access to therapy introductions, consultations, product experience lounges and interesting seminars on luxury wellness, clinical and holistic healing from eminent consultants, therapists and medical authorities. Visitors will be able to interact with the exhibitors and consider personalised therapies relevant to their overall wellbeing.

According to the Global Wellness Institute, Luxury Wellness Tourism is already a USD 439-billion market—or more than one in seven of all tourist dollars—and is set to grow to USD 678.5 billion by 2017, the release states.

UAE is one of the top spenders from GCC countries to vouch for holistic treatments in India. Statistics show UAE residents spent an estimated USD 6.6 billion per year on international holiday trips of which USD four billion is spent on Medical and Luxury Wellness Tourism.

Six million visitors from UAE are stated to fly to India for Luxury Wellness Tourism and India’s total wellness market is valued at USD 18 billion in the next four years. Further, India’s Luxury Wellness Tourism segment is estimated to grow nearly 50 per cent faster than the other aspects of global tourism in 2017.

Speaking of the importance of Royal India Wellness exhibition 2014, Gayathri Bhardwaj, Founder and Managing Director, GLOBUZZ, said, “Royal India Wellness exhibition is our initiative to connect High Net worth Individuals (HNIs) of UAE and GCC countries to the top high-end wellness brands, therapy services and medical facilities from India. We aim to facilitate and explore potential trade opportunities to create nodal wellness platforms within the UAE, which is the undisputed tourism hub of the region.”

She went on to say that the exhibition is specifically designed to motivate the desire for rejuvenation, healthy quality of life, disease management through holistic healing, stress reduction and smartly balancing mind, body and soul.
