Patients from abroad are coming to Kazakhstan to receive treatment. Medical tourism is developing due to the professional achievements of local doctors. The National Scientific Centre for Neurosurgery is decorated with presents from thankful patients from Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan. Last year doctors of the centre cured sixteen foreign residents and this year they are planning to help even more patients get back to their feet.

Next week Astana neurosurgeons will perform an operation on an Australian national. To date Nigerian patient Saghir Kokki is recovering from successful surgery. He came to Kazakhstan because of back and neck problems and even painkillers didn’t help him.
Nigeria’s patient Saghir Kokki said that he could receive treatment but his friend had advised him to go to Kazakhstan. He never regretted about it, since he feels great. He is grateful to Kazakhstan doctors for their work.
Last week the Astana National Scientific and Medical Centre discharged 11 citizens of the USA, who received treatment with the use of the FDA-approved stem cells. Foreigners, who lost their hopes for recovery, have noted a marked improvement in health and even movement functions.
