Everything is ready to for the Third Medical Tourism Forum, called “Mexico: International Business Summit on Medical Tourism.” This year the venue will be theCasaMagna Marriott Resort and Spa in Puerto Vallarta from August 22 to 24, 2012.
Medical tourism accounts for an economic boost of approximately $122 million dollars to Mexico with most visitors coming from the USA, Canada and Latin America.
This year’s summit will feature 16 internationally renowned speakers, experts in medical tourism, as well as workshops and business meetings between suppliers of medical tourism in Latin America and Mexico.
Carlos Arceo Real, President of the International Business Summit on Medical Tourism, said that the summit is one of eight international events in the world and stressed the importance of medical tourism in tourist destinations such as Puerto Vallarta.
Gloria Guevara Manzo, Federal Minister of Tourism, will open the summit as well as present a lecture on strategies for the Mexican government to promote medical tourism.
The deadline to register for this important summit is the August 22, 2012.
